Donations - Financial
As we have mentioned on our "About Us" page, the Museum is a registered Charitable Trust (Reg. No. 285738) and, to date, has received no funding from any official source. We are solely dependent upon the entrance fees from our visitors, together with some generous donations and bequests, received over the years, from members of the public, including former Battle of Britain pilots or their relatives.
Any donations are used solely for the following: - expansion of the museum site, new exhibits, maintenance and refurbishment of the museum buildings. It should be noted that 100% of donations, whether financial, items or services in kind, are expended for these purposes and all maintenance or refurbishment is carried out by the volunteers in-house where possible.
In this event, should you feel that you could help us perpetuate the memory of this historic battle and those who took part in it in any way financially, we would be deeply grateful for such help.
If you would like to discuss this with our Chairman, please contact our Chairman David Brocklehurst MBE - the ultimate success of the Museum rests with you, our visitor.
